This lesson will teach you how to draw a mosquito. We will draw attention to the shapes of each section and variety of contours drawn making sure that the artwork looks great.

Draw The Head
Begin by drawing a small circle on the left side of your paper.

Add Details On The Head
Add its small eyes and its mouth. This beak-like mouth is called a proboscis. It's like a straw that sucks the blood of its prey.

Outline Details Of The Body
Its body is composed of upper and lower parts. Draw two oblong shapes on the right side of the side. Add vertical lines on the lower part.

Draw The Wings
Add the wings above the body, slanted towards the body. Each of the mosquito's wings must be drawn so they look like they are attached to its body.

Complete The Legs
The mosquito has 6 thin legs spread below its body.

Color Your Drawing
Now let us color our drawing using gray, black, white and yellow crayons.
